Briggs Farm Concerts is inviting fans back to live music with a free concert on Friday, May 14th at the Nescopeck Township Fire Hall. Featuring headliner Dustin Douglas & The Electric Gentlemen, this Fire House Concert is being presented to thank fans of the long running Briggs Farm Blues Festival for their continued support over the past year and for their eagerness to return to live music! The event will offer indoor and outdoor seating, food sales benefitting the Nescopeck Township Fire Company, and craft beer sales by Berwick Brewing.
Capturing the vibe of late 60’s and 70’s blues-laced rock-n-roll, Dustin Douglas & The Electric Gentlemen mix retro-style and groove a-la Jimi Hendrix Experience, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Joe Bonamassa Led Zeppelin, ZZ Top for a lightning charged, vintage style all their own.
Dena Briggs, spokesperson for Briggs Farm Concerts, says, “It’s going to be a fun, energetic night of great music… and it’s about time for it!”
Doors will open at 6pm and music will begin at 7pm. Regional favorites Low Hanging Fruit will start the evening out with their eclectic blend of classic rock, blues, and bluegrass. Tickets for Briggs Farm Blues Festival held July 8, 9 & 10 will be available for purchase at the event.
