April 30, 2019. Medusa’s Disco announced that they would be inviting fans to be a part of their music video for the original track, “Tear It Apart.” You can hear the track here. It is the first music video the group has filmed in four years.
The idea was originally proposed by member Wynton Huddle on the group’s Facebook fan page not even a week ago. With the immediate wave of interest, Medusa’s knew they had to follow through.
The filming will be held at the Harrisburg Midtown Arts Center on May 23rd. Participants are instructed to gather in the front room of the first floor at 5 p.m. where they will be guided to Medusa’s “super-secret liar where they will be filming…inside of an abandoned old pool in the venue’s basement.”
Fans were given a loose set of instructions on what to expect for the night including to rage, wear something cool, and bring plenty of bags of wine to slap. “We may direct some of you to do more specific things in the moment,” the post added, “please be attentive to us and the director.”
As if the chance to be a part of Medusa History wasn’t enticing enough, there may be a “once in a lifetime short set in the actual abandoned pool after filming is complete to thank [fans] for their support.”
More information can be found on the filming’s Facebook event page, where this article’s cover photo was provided from.
